Life's Beautiful
Just a quick one amidst the busy busy busy bee week! So busy we still haven got our photographer settled. And i think Caroline half given up on us ... we're coming Caroline! I was just looking back at Tiny Dot Photography. Really love Yu Hsin's actual (wedding) day work; gives me the blissful and awwww feeling.
Monday was absolute crap! The adrenalin from the workout wasn't even enough to perk me up. And seriously, i was pretty upset to be made to eat thin crust pizza when i am a i-love-pizza-dough kinda girl. And even though i said i wasn't craving for it, i was hoping to eat bar chor mee (yes, i know i always do this!). But the combination of nice chill out music, great food (pizza & burger) and loads and loads of love really lifted my spirits.
When i feel so low and crap. I thank God that He place angels around me. Most of the time, angel Isaiah would be on duty. Then the rest of you, can you please queue up ... take turn, dun fight. And dun try to be funny ah. :)

On another note, i need to start jogging (preferably outdoors too)! After gym today, i looked at the queue to bathe. So long! I decided that i shall be good and train for the GE run coming up in a fortnight (gasp!). So i climbed onto the threadmill, looked at the TV for 3 seconds. Look down at the threadmill (at speed 0.8 km/hr cos i was too lazy to adjust it).. and thought to myself, 'nah...'. I hopped off with gusto and proceeded promptly to bathe (of course must queue. but it beats jogging. wahahha). My GE training consists of walking around Plaza Sing in heels. BRAVO!
But hey, look what i got!

Happy Birthday Dorothy, Josiah & Jeremiah! :)
p.s. its 2.30am. pray that i wake up in time for skool!

No, i didn't buy an entire cake to myself (and helped the birthday peeps eat it)! Though my mentor Nas**** would beg to differ. According to her (who sits just behind me), 'whenever i turn and look at Matilda, she will always have her face stuffed into a tupperware, eating out of it'.
And given that i was FAMISHED from handling all the final year exam results today... i told my colleauges that i stuffed in 2 oreo cookies before going down to Hougang Mall to meet them for lunch. Mentor Nas**** went, 'only 2 oreos mehhh?!?!"
!!!
But i love you sill mentor Nas**** Though i think i might not live past tomorrow for typing it all here :)

For everything You've given me Lord, i thank You.
Be it in the good times
or in the bad times (i try!).
Because i know it's all part of Your master plan.

Psalms 119: 1-16
' Aleph
1 Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.
2 Blessed are they who keep his statutes
and seek him with all their heart.
3 They do nothing wrong;
they walk in his ways.
4 You have laid down precepts
that are to be fully obeyed.
5 Oh, that my ways were steadfast
in obeying your decrees!
6 Then I would not be put to shame
when I consider all your commands.
7 I will praise you with an upright heart
as I learn your righteous laws.
8 I will obey your decrees;
do not utterly forsake me.
b Beth
9 How can a young man keep his way pure?By living according to your word.
10 I seek you with all my heart;
do not let me stray from your commands.
11 I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you.
12 Praise be to you, O LORD;
teach me your decrees.
13 With my lips I recount
all the laws that come from your mouth.
14 I rejoice in following your statutes
as one rejoices in great riches.
15 I meditate on your precepts
and consider your ways.
16 I delight in your decrees;
I will not neglect your word.
43 months and 1382 days later...

Blessed 43rd Month darling :)
You have been through 43 months and 1382 days of my nonsense, silliness, craziness as well as the better times. Each time i'm upset, i know that i've got you to turn to.. after God that is! And i know that you'll always be there, rain or shine, for the better or for the worst..
.
.
.
.
.
except when i 'secretly' drink your ginger beer
or your tea
or steal your food cos its nicer
or ... :)

Thank you for loving me :)

Shawn & Felicity's Wedding
Accompanied Isaiah to his colleague's wedding this morning. What a brilliant idea to hold it on 1st October! :)
I had great fun playing with the SLR. I'm really hoping that the pictures turned out nice. Will upload them when the big guy does it!
Meanwhile, some photos from my trusty sony ericsson for now..
Lovely girls!
Pity the SLR died just before this shot.
Us @ Marina Square right after the wedding

It was a spontaneous idea to catch a movie. We arrived at 1pm and bought the 1240 show for Eagle Eye. Pretty good show, but it freaked me out alittle. Ahaa. Walked around, collected my birthday jeans from mummy and basically had good fun. It isn't everyday dear Isaiah walks in a shopping mall with me :)
Chris Ling & Tiny Dot Photography
Been to Chris Ling & Tiny Dot in the past week.
Must say that Isaiah and myself started off with pretty diverse opinions on the photographer we were interested in. After browsing through so many of the online, i am starting to get confused. haha.
There's normal actual day (AD) photography and there's the journalistic style.
There's pre-wedding (PW) where's there studio and outdoor shots.
There's coffee table books and albums.
And many more jargons. I'm confused.
Oh, and i want to write to NUS to let us take pictures in central library - where we spent most of our uni days together. I even made Isaiah stay over night when the library started opening 24 hours the year after i left :) I remembered that i was in NIE then and i didn't had much to do. But the thrill of staying overnight in my beloved central library gave me the adrenalin rush. Haha. We took cab at 11.30pm, paid surcharge just to do that :)

Chris Ling has the advantage of experience on his side. With an impressive portfolio, we are tempted to just sign up with them because Silhouette is offering an awesome package. On the other hand, i was hoping to see more natural and happy shots from the ones we saw. But Arvinna did very kindly told us that Chris' used to take fashion shots but he does natural happy shots well too.
Tiny Dot Photography's Yu Hsin was so warm and nice that i felt instantly at home. Aside from his charming personlity, the great thing is that we get all our shots back. Every single one of them. However, Isaiah and myself did agree that we prefer his actual day wedding shots to the pre wedding ones. A pity our wedding date falls on his mum's birthday! I cant bear to bring him away from such a special day. :)
Ok, we're looking at Vivid Shots (Monica Eng) & Lighted Pixels next. Need wisdom, pray with us and for us :)

Recent Foodies (only if you are not starving...)
Yummy yummy. Chomp Chomp. From food from the heart to food from the wallet...
Ok, i think i'll let the pictures do the talking
Coupon from Mummy which gave me a free drink.
Really refreshing & yummy. Sour & sweet, perfert combination!
Lunch prepared by daddy.
Yummy corn & ribs soup with freshly cooked soya sauce ribs & eggs.
This was my paternal grandpa's favourite dish!
Dinner with Gail & Liwen @ TCC, Plaza Sing.
Neeeeehh. not nice! Expected a BIIIG portebella mushroom.
It turned out mushy and all.
Bread below was nice but totally not worth ruining my gym session!
Dinner with Char & PL @ Aris, Raffles City.
Pasta was probably not their forte
since pasta crazy me didn't enjoy the meal.
Tea with Socks & Junie @ TCC.
Lovely colleagues who accompanied me to Bridal Veil
This drink is named fruity something. Refreshing, nice and costly!
Back to to the good ole simple days with David.
It was one of my crappiest day at work -
a surprise from Macs totally made my day. ;)
Out with ELMASS at French (can't spell it) at Vivo.
Lovely Creme Brulee.
Best of all, they welcomed me as the 'ss' of the group.
Desert with Isaiah, Tim & Lesley @ Keppel Bay, TCC.
We were hoping so hard we find some object inside
so that our meal could be free.
Also the fateful day where we learn how to jumpstart a car.
Tell me, why is my stomach bulging?
Despite the numerous crunches?
:)

Last weekend, we had a mini adventure. Adventure for me since he wouldn't tell me where he's bringing me to. Adventure for him because I huffed and puffed my way there. If you get what i mean. :) It was a grumpy pms-fied day. But the food at this eatery at Seletar Airbase was so good, i couldn't keep up with the glum for long.
