It was a great day :) Our blessings to the lovely couple. May God's blessings always be showered upon you and the family to come.

Weddings always make us think of our own... of how much we have yet to do! heh.

in about 6 hours time..

... we'll be up and about, preparing for a close friend's wedding.

No doubt we'll be super sleepy and tired, not to mention, delirious, but i'm excited.

Not too long ago, we were dressed in pink for a sister's wedding. Today, one of us would be going through her customary rites. The next one would be in Sept, followed by our wedding in Nov.

Moving on to more frivolous matters... here's my shoe/sandal/whatever! :)

I've a funny story to tell with regards to the shoe search. But i'm much too sleepy for that. Will update with more pictures laters. :)

it's 6 months away!

Today commemorates the fact that we'll be married in 6 months time!

We've been busy with fittings and shopping :) But it's been fun. There isn't a need to feel guilty in spending money buying shoes, dresses and other stuff!

Now that's school's almost over, i can't wait to get started with wedding preparations.

I promised some dear ones photos of the shoes... but since I have been unable to overcome the temptation of falling asleep right after I reach home, my photos of the shoes are stuck in my mac, asleep, just like me.

Anyway, here's a lovely photo of a pair of shoe. I noticed how non-asian couples tend to be more adventurous with their shoes. I'm hoping that i can find something less strappy and more classy for my wedding gown. Perhaps something white with roses and butterflies? Or something completely outrageous that's pink and red and fantastically and beautifully bright?

But as one says, sometimes its harder to find a shoe than the right man. Ha. When you are not looking for it, it pops up out of no where!

In anycase, no one can see my shoe under the loooong beautiful gorgeous gown.

haha long time no post le...so better post something :p

anyway thank God we've gotten our church venue settled! COS (MP) 2pm to 5pm! As long as no MP member kicks us out by getting married on the same day =p

been thinking about reaching out and its great when you have a wedding service that can fit 700 plus ppl....so i'm thinking

let's invite as many people as possible =p from the chicken rice uncle, to the guy from the prata stall, to the uncle that serves us kaya toast every sunday morning! let's have an evangelistic wedding sermon...no need 1 Cor 13, i quite familiar with it already =p

but yeah seriously, i think we want everyone who comes for our wedding service to walk away with one message - "God loves us unimaginably wonderfully crazily! He gave us this special day and HE can do so much immeasurably more for u in your life, no matter what situation!"

God has been so GOOD these past 2 weeks, just being a wonderful DADDY God who cares so much. =) btw, i tot cell and service was great today, especially the discussion time during cell - so many talented and bright young people with GREAT potential for furthering God's kingdom - let's ask God for a Jesus kinda life, Amen? A CRAZY, extraordinary, EXCITING LIFE! WOOT!

Separately, tomorrow or rather, later today, 3 guys will be shopping for 1 guy's shoes and shirt =p and if we have a chance, we're getting some guns! hahaha!!!! See yah at Raffles City!

oh my so lovely!

Not the food :)

We had a lovely Saturday walking around with mummy and marilyn before going to the bridal studio for my second fitting. Measurements for him.

This is actually Isaiah's first time in a long while (marriage-time) stepping into the boutique.. considering that I've been going pretty often with Liwen. hahaha.

I first tried on the evening gown and with all the loose parts made tighter, it looks even more gorgeous than ever. I cant wait for Caroline to put on the beads!

We moved on to the bridal gown quickly. It was so huge that i had so much difficulties putting it on. And with the can-can, i felt pretty much as nimble as a can. I needed help putting on the whole dress! *reminder to always wear nice ahems to fittings.

But when it's on, and when i was facing the big mirror... i could only stare. The gown was drop dead gorgeous! It was the dream gown. As requested, the gown was longer and Caroline kindly added in more beadings & embroidery at the front :) :) I later asked Isaiah what he thought of the gown, since he was the one who went 'it only happens in the movies' when i asked him why he couldn't evoke more emotions the first time he saw me in a wedding gown.

And he went, as long as you like it, the money is well spent. I mean, awwwwwww!

So marilyn happily snapped away. She kept asking me to smile but i felt too awkward to do so. CF, all the best! haha. Mummy caught this picture of me giving Isaiah the face while reaching over to catch him. At the split moment, he was actually trying to escape from me. It all looked too Bridezilla! And Isaiah actually uploaded the picture on facebook, only to be reminded by well meaning Su Linn & Eliz that it's not supposed to be seen.

For those who saw it on facebook on Saturday night, you are a blessed one! The said gown was only up for 10 minutes :)
