We'll be heading to Perth with some friends and the guys from 1950 Photography. All i can say is that we'd never imagined being able to go this far for a wedding shoot. And to be able to come this far, there's only one thing to say...

All Glory to God :) He's been good to us.

Bridals 80% done - we need to hurry!!

Pictures taken from http://www.davebiesse.com/

We're almost 80% done with our decision for bridals.

It all started off with deciding that staying local was good. We can capture moments and places that were special.

And then something sparked and we decided, hey, why not Perth?
After much hussle with the prices and all, i think we've found something we both like.

Why Perth?
No particular reason. It's just that flights are cheap and its a nice place to begin with. And we all know a good scenery makes the picture nicer. Even though Perth currently holds no memories, since we both have not been there, but i figured that it will soon be a place of many memories. Ahha! :)

Anyway, we need to hurry. If Caroline, our wedding designer who have seen many many many couples, can say that we are 'scary', then we most certainly are running short of time.

NEED TO LOST WEIGHT IN TWO MONTHS.

TWO MONTHS

TWO MONTHS

cannot eat liao.

ARGGGGHHH!!

Ballistic!

Liwen and myself went for the 2nd designing session today with Caroline from Silhouette. I'm just so thankful that we've chosen them. Each bride has her style and her likes. Unfortunately for them (haha), i'm just not too clear of what i want. Caroline has been such a sweet to work with; always patiently explaining and helping me see what i want :)

I made poor Liwen come down because she needs to fulfill her duties as the MOH. hahahah. And also because she has a better eye for such things.

Well, the bridal gown is more or less decided. I love it i love it i love it!

We decided on the colour of the evening gown, as well as some other aspects of it. If Liwen wasn't there, i would have gone ballistic. She gave pretty good perspectives to help me make a decision.

Anyway, the gown is gonna look like this...

aha just kiddin :)

Its no where near but the colour is almost there!

feeling the heat baby!

This picture was taken when the first few drops of snow arrived in NYC. Though Char and myself would beg to differ - its our little secret that snow arrived in the Big Apple when we were right on top of the Empire State Building a couple of days before that. Our little secret because people below wouldn't know that it was snowing since by the time the snow flakes reached the ground, it became liquid.

Anyway, i'm just dragging this picture out because I MISS USA!! (haha, that statement could have meant an entirely different thing if you read it with a tinge of Singlish).

And also because this holiday week has been incredibly stressful for me. I'm more stressed up by thinking of what i've not done. Markings, lesson ppt slides, lesson planning, record book, project work, elearning stuff, speech day stuff, and... our wedding prep is just hanging there. Literally. I feel like what i felt when we first arrived in NYC - overwhelmed. Char and me just stood at the traffic junction outside our hostel and stared. It was all too much to take in.

Ironically, this year started with me feeling incredibly free. What a change of events! And sadly, i realised that in the midst of rushing to and fro, i've failed to put God first. Somehow i need to remind myself of His existence. God loves us so much, and this is how i repay him? :(

Over facial today, i was just telling sister Viona that i want our wedding to be a happy affair. An event that there's smiles all over. People are just basically happy and honoured to be there. If there's a giggles bubble, then i hope we are all covered in it the entire two days. And she went, God can make all things possible.

HOW.INDEED.

I've seem to have forgotten about the most basic idea.

So pray for us. We are bogged down by work but we're gonna surface! :) Perhaps just in time for the honeymoon! hhahahah
