The Day of Unspeakable Joy

Now this i am highly capable of :)

Ever had one of those days something so incredibly good happened to you that you can't help but grin from ear to ear? That when the news was delivered to you, it's as if your entire world lighted up and everything seems so beautiful? That you can't help but scream and jump a hip hip hooray and 3 cheers for yourself cos you are absolutely brimming with happiness, relief and joy? And you know that you are grinning like an idiot, behaving like one cos you say hi and bye to everybody including the uncle who mans the toilet (who knows you la!)... but you can't help it?

OOooOhhh! Today was such a wonderful day :) All i can say is Thank God, my lovely lovely Isaiah, my family and some special special people for it.

I was clearing through some stuff, desperately searching for a piece of paper when i stumbled upon one of my old organisers i had in uni days. Coincidentally, it's from the days when Isaiah and I first held hands :) Here's a poem that i found especially inspiring:

If you want a thing bad enough
To go out and fight for it
To work day and night for it
To give up your time, your peace, your sleep for it;

If all that you dream and scheme is about it
And life seems useless and worthless without it;
If you gladly sweat for it,fret for it and plan for it
And lose all your tenor of the opposition for it;

If you simply go after that thing you want
With all your capacity, strength, sagacity
Faith, hope, confidence and stern pertinacity;

If neither cold, poverty, famine
Nor gout, sickness or pain of body and brain
Can keep you away from the thing you want;

If dogged and grim you beseech and beset
With the help of GOD, you will get it!
Les Brown

I was reading through this poem when i realised... hey! they all applied to me. And when the wonderful thing happened, my goodness... it's just simply a-m-a-z-i-n-g :)

Now go grab some dreams people!! :) Reach out for it and be stubborn about letting it go!

Updated:
For the curious, this blog post was about the day i finally passed my practical driving examination on my second attempt. The initial plan was to pass the exam and present my driving license as a part wedding gift to Isaiah so that i can help with the driving in Tasmania. However as it turns out i didnt pass in time - which was all for the better anyway, since i couldn't switch lanes even if my life depended on it! Anyway i was going for driving lessons on the sly and it was really hard to keep the secret in. Fun, but tough.
