He drove us to Eden Cafe for dinner on the pretext that it was some place he went with his colleagues (disappointing to eat porridge on anniversaries ok, but i figured it must be some really good porridge). He did previously asked what dishes i like and me being me just said the usual, urmmm.. Sambal Kang Kong, Chilli Crab. Lol. Not very helpful as i realised later..
Anyway, it was a plesant surprise to arrive at Club Street's Eden Restaurant. It's warm and cosy, not forgetting he booked the corner with all the *gasp!* teddy bears... MY FAVOURITE! :)
Once we got settled, Clement, the chef and owner of the restaurant came out to have a short chat. I realised that the menu has already been specially prepared.. AWESOME! :)

The food came one after another. It was so good, i was upset that it all had to end. Every dish was special in itself. The portabella mushroom was heavenly. The frozen watermelons with caviar was just the perfect combination. I never thought cooked strawberries could taste this good. And best of all, for a non-lamb lover like me, the lamb was marinated so well, i could only taste the goodness and essence of it. Mhmmm
Naturally, everyone would be turned out by capsicums as a dessert. But fear not! It was interesting.. and yummy. Yes you heard me! For chocolate lovers, the former cake is yummy and extremely potent :)
