and we can finally start planning

Speech day is over! Finished my first wedding of the year - the school's wedding. Apparently most schools here gets married once a year. Heh. Shall resume normal wedding planning activities :)

Things are picking up, I'm going for fittings and starting to flip all the bridal magazines that dear Liwen has bought for me.

Went for my first evening gown fitting with Mummy, Marilyn & Liwen over the weekend. Ohhh, so exciting :) I love having Mummy around cos she rocks and her opinion matters so much to me.

After so many month (?) or weeks of decision making.. from the countless bridal magazines, pictures and sessions with Caroline (especially the one we sat down to pore over magazines and her designer stuff... and Isaiah played solitaire on his phone), it finally came down to this. The actual gown in physical form. I just wanted to put it down in memory that i didn't quite know how to react when i saw it. My first thought was that it was so not me.. not that it wasn't gorgeous - it was - but it seem such a far cry from my usual weekend style.

But it felt right after i put it on - a couple seconds of lag - but after staring at myself for awhile, i guess it felt right. It would still take some getting used to the fact that i'm a bride! A bride. Fancy! :)

Thank God everyone agreed that the colour was gorgeous next to my skin tone. i was debating between a hot pink one or a lighter pink one. And I chose the latter. Mummy gave some advice on altering the sides of the dress while Marilyn happily snapped away pictures. Moh says i need to lose weight.. so gym sessions, here i come!

I'm doing a silent debate on whether i should post the picture of the fitting here, but i guess i shall keep whoever that reads this blog in suspense..

Until the next fitting (which will be the wedding gown.. EXCITED!!) or the next.. or the next.. heh.
