15 days: it's been 56 months...

Ever since we got together, we made a promise to at least have a sit down dinner or to meet up on the 13th of every month. It's alittle reminder to us of our journey together :)

How time flies. We've been doing this for 55 times in the past four years. And this month, we would be celebrating our final 'monthniversary' as singlehoods. This would be the last month that i can call him my boyfriend. Wow! Scary!

In my perspective, we didn't start off too well. In fact, it was full of struggles, pain and perhaps even much tears. Unlike most couples who went through the honeymoon stage, i think i gave Isaiah a 'sourmoon' with my many insecurities. Even though we started off knowing that marriage would be an end goal if all works out well, the young me prolly couldn't see this day coming then. I guess, if not for Isaiah's persistence and God's grace, we wouldn't have today. Ahh, all well ends well :)

Last year, Isaiah blogged alittle about how we met. I thought i continue the story alittle more here... you'll prolly hear more of it during the dinner.

It all started with our trip to Cambodia :) I paid no attention to Isaiah cos i was too preoccupied with playing bridge all day long (and we really played all day long!). Then the teasing started, and i thought little of it. After all, this guy don't talk to me much anyway. Chey, ignore!

During the last day at the orphanage, we were busy taking photos. As i was so very silly, i didn't bring a camera. So in came Isaiah who was taking a photo with a lovely girl... and next came me who desperately wanted a photo. So i hopped in, smiled and snapped a shot. Our friends were teasing how that was a family shot. To me however, i was simply happy that i finally got a shot with a Cambodian kid!

It really all started during the R&R of the trip where our leader Jerry kept teasing Isaiah. He was getting the full brunt of it... as for me, i was just getting weird vibes and giggles from my friends. As i said before, because i was so busy playing bridge, my antennas were not tuned in to the cupid arrows around me :)

This photo was taken during our last dinner there. We had this funky seating arrangement where we sat on one long table facing each other. When Jerry insisted that Isaiah and me sat face to face... with not so soft teasings about dating and getting to know each other better... that was when i knew something was up!

Ok doks, i'll leave the rest to Isaiah to finish :)
